Gridarium only uses your information to provide the service. You can play without an account: then nothing is kept on our servers.

1.Who is responsible

Gridarium is operated by an individual business. The person responsible for personal information is its operator. To reach them about your information, write to support@gridarium.com.

2.What we collect

Without an account, the puzzles you finish, your preferences, your saved games and your friends list stay in your browser, on your device. We cannot see them.

With an account, we also keep:

  • your sign-in details, managed by Firebase Authentication: your email address, or your Google account if you choose that way of signing in;
  • your history of finished puzzles (which puzzle, level, day, time taken, hints used, result), so it follows you to your other devices; your level, streak and badges are worked out from it;
  • the status of your Premium access (start and renewal dates), processed through our payment provider Stripe. We never receive or store your card number.

3.Audience measurement and logs

If you accept it in the consent banner, Google Analytics tells us in general how the site is used (pages visited, features used), without your name or email. If you decline, nothing is measured. A technical log of errors, without your name or email, helps us diagnose problems.

4.How we use it

To provide the service, keep your history and streak, secure access to your account, and improve the quality of the puzzles and the site.

5.Service providers and sharing

We do not sell your information. A few technical providers process it, each for one purpose: Firebase / Google Cloud (hosting, sign-in, database); Stripe (payments, which handles your card details directly); and Google Analytics (basic audience measurement), only if you accept it.

6.International transfers

Firebase / Google Cloud and Stripe are based in the United States and may process or store information outside your country of residence to provide their services.

7.Cookies and local storage

The site uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and your progress, and keep today's puzzle available without a connection. These are necessary for the service and do not need your consent. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure general use, only if you accept it in the consent banner; you can change your choice at any time with "Cookie preferences" in the page footer. We use no advertising cookies and no tracking for marketing.

8.How long we keep it

Your account and history are kept while your account is open. Information about your purchases (Premium dates) is kept as long as the service and our accounting duties require.

9.Your rights

You can ask for access to your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, by writing to support@gridarium.com. You can also, from your account page, download your data and delete your account yourself, which erases your history on our servers and stops any subscription.

10.Contact

For any question about privacy or your personal information, write to support@gridarium.com.

Your choice about audience measurement. We would like to use Google Analytics to understand, in general, how Gridarium is used. It sets cookies and is off unless you accept. The site works the same either way. Read the privacy policy
