1. 1Sixteen words hide four groups of four. Each group shares something: a category, a missing word, or a trick of spelling or sound.
2. 2Pick four words you think belong together, then press Submit. A right guess turns into a coloured group with its title; the other words stay in play.
3. 3You have four slips: a wrong guess uses one, and when none are left the game ends and shows the answers. If you are one word away, you are told. The same four words twice cost nothing.
4. 4The groups come in four colours, from straightforward to devious. Each also has its own shape and name, so you never need to tell colours apart.
5. 5A hint shows the title of the easiest group left. It never tells you a word, and it costs a little XP.
6. 6There is a new puzzle every day, the same for everyone. The timer is optional and never counts for XP.
